Women Transforming India Awards 2021

Anju Bist, Managing director of Saukhyam Reusable Pads is one among the 75 women honoured as Women Transforming India by the NITI Aayog.

Women Transforming India Awards, instituted by Niti Aayog, the apex public policy thinktank of the Government of India recognises remarkable achievements of India's women leaders and change-makers in transforming India into a ‘Sashakt Aur Samarth Bharat’. Amitabh Kant, CEO Niti Aayog said, ‘The WTI Awards celebrates the dynamic efforts of women by sharing their exemplary stories and exceptional work. From shattering social boundaries to paving the way for an equal India, these winners lead by example.’

Niti aayog recognises Saukhyam as a 'strong root for tomorrow's India'. Saukhyam is the world's first reusable menstrual pads that are made from banana fiber, which comes from agro-waste. This honour comes as a warm encouragement for all future endeavors of Saukhyam aimed towards providing better period experiences to women and girls, benefitting people and the planet.
