Satellite Production Centers
Satellite Production Centres create employment opportunities for rural women close to home. Like the khadi industry, which supports about 5 lakh rural households, large-scale reusable pad manufacturing has the potential to create lakhs of jobs.
Madhya Pradesh
Two satellite centers operate in Burhanpur District. The women working here are part of self-help groups constituted by Ajeevika, the State Rural Livelihood Mission of Madhya Pradesh.
